American Red Cross Gold Country Region contacted me to design a print ad for Russian American Media’s business directory distributed to over 1.1 million Californians. Ads that resonate with deep values are extremely effective and if there’s one thing I know and appreciate about the Russian community is their strong family orientation which served as inspiration for the ad that was selected to run. Because the purpose of this ad was strictly to reinforce brand awareness, I also came up with a second design (The cross word-type design below); however, we were on a tight deadline and simply did not have time to get approval from Red Cross National Headquarters.
